"Morning Joe" Loses Remaining Five Viewers
NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—MSNBC executives were in crisis mode on Tuesday amid reports that their morning program, “Morning Joe,” had lost its last five viewers.
News that the program’s co-hosts had paid homage to Donald J. Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Friday was the “last straw” for the fewer than a half dozen stalwarts who were still watching the show, the executives confirmed.
“We've reached out to those five people, and they’re not coming back,” one executive confirmed. “There are now more people sitting around Joe's roundtable than watching at home.”
MSNBC is reportedly mulling a number of moves to salvage the program, including rebranding it as “Trump & Friends.”
