Nation Cruelly Reminded of Existence of Tulsi Gabbard
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (The Borowitz Report)—Millions of Americans were reportedly furious on Tuesday after being cruelly reminded of Tulsi Gabbard’s existence.
While millions more struggled to remember who Gabbard was, those who could place her were irate that Donald J. Trump had chosen to jog their memory in such a brutal manner.
“Trump has done a lot of horrible things, like separating families at the border and botching the response to the pandemic,” said Tracy Klugian, a resident of Topeka, Kansas. “But reminding me that Tulsi Gabbard roams the Earth might be the most unforgivable.”
“Bringing back memories of Tulsi Gabbard tells you all you need to know about Donald Trump,” said Carol Foyler of Portland, Maine. “The man is a sadist.”
Harland Dorrinson of Akron, Ohio wondered why Trump would recruit Gabbard for his transition team, remarking, “Maybe she’s there to make RFK Jr. look sane.”

Be honest: how many of you had to take a second to remember who Tulsi was?
There's been an uptick in the crazy this past week for sure, so why not try to court the Samoan vote? (yes I had to look her up because the opportunistic turn to the fascist side is so common these days, even among "former" Democrats--Kristen Sinema anyone???) This morning's announcement of crazy on NPR is that the CFDT photo op at Arlington National Cemetery had been absolutely forbidden by the officials at the cemetery (they don't allow anyone to use private photographers for photo ops at memorials created by the military) but CFDT and his minions brought their photographers and so on anyway and then physically intimidated the official from ANC when she told them to stop photographing. Andy: got anything to say about this?? And of course the families that "invited" CFDT to go to the memorial should be, um, "talked to" for creating the situation and giving CFDT a chance to politicize what was a terrible situation that HE put into place, not Biden. HE was responsible because he was the one who "negotiated" the removal of US troops in Afghanistan and stuck Biden with an impossible timeline and no equipment (CFDT closed all but one of the bases in Afghanistan and allowed the Taliban to overrun the closed bases and appropriate all the stuff in them) to get the job done without it being a total mess. But I hope the people who run ANC sue him and his campaign.
