This, from Michael Fanone, the cop who defended the Capitol on Jan 6: “Lindsey Graham is dead. I will always remember my first and only encounter with him when he looked the grieving mother of a dead police officer in the face and barked that he wasn’t going to listen to her blame Trump for January 6th. When I showed him my body cam footage from that day he turned away and looked at his phone. Rest in Piss you fucking worthless scumbag. If there is a hell I hope you're in it.”
Thank you Andy, This was the obituary I wanted to read . Lindsey Graham had buried his moral conscience and his spine in his backyard. You have shown him for what he was. This is why I read your posts so faithfully and with so much respect for your wit and wisdom. 💕
Look up and read Michael Fanone's post re "Sweet Lindsey O'Caroline's" demise. I might print it out with "Sweet's" picture, including a spoiled sani-wipe under it as a subject name plate--sort of like Trump's Colonade walk of bs.
He also told South Carolina's mothers and fathers to send their sons to fight for a Strait called Hormuz...
He did play a strong role in keeping hope and support for Ukraine. That I will grant him. Why, I don't really know, but there is that. The rest of it is just sort of incomprehensible. I remember him bursting into snarling sobs of self-righteousness at Brett Kavanaugh's hearing, putting on a show of tears that might have made Gloria Swanson blush.
Julie Roginsky gives the most favourable obit you’ll see. He helped her get some legislation passed and she fears Trump will get even worse on Ukraine now.
Rude dog walkers! At least the ones that go by my yard pick after them. Of course when I watch them pick up after their dog, I’ll think of Graham and his relationship with trump.
I learned today what an insane supporter of Netty Yahoo he was. You know, I was never in the military, but I learned a lot of things about war in my life. One of the first lessons is that air power alone cannot win anything - not a battle, not a war, not the peace. I learned that Lindsey wanted to see America use its military out in the world to get what we want.
Now, I know Trump isn’t smart enough to have a goal like that - it has two parts, wanting something and using the military to try to take it. Trump doesn’t usually think of two things that are related to one another. So of course he wouldn’t see the fallacy in Lindsey’s thinking. But seriously, was Graham the oxygen-starved brain behind this war?
But any intelligent military person will tell you that the attacks on Iran achieved all they could. Anybody who expected more is a dunce.
Andy wanted him to survive long enough to be tried for treason. I agree. I also wanted him to survive long enough to be defeated in his Senate reelection campaign. Agent Orange would have dropped him like a solar panel.
There seems to be a lot of effort to paper over what Lindsey Graham has done. It seems like a reflex almost that no one wants to speak ill of the dead.
Three cheers for Andy Borowitz for laying the case bare. Lindsey Graham earned the legacy that Andy has outlined and history will bestow upon him, provided the Republic survives of course.
In the immortal words of Margo Channing, once we get rid of Trump, I want to look at every member of his administration and say " Fasten your seat belts! It's going to be a bumpy night!"
Everything Trump and his cult do, all the grift, graft, inhuman behavior, lies, murders, wars, total incompetence, theft and sexual perversions they desperately to cover up and/or erase just as they try to calm SLAVERY a “good” thing or accuse millions of decent, hard-working (albeit some undocumented) immigrants that are the life blood of America “hoards of rapists, murderers and scum” when WE know the worst scum lives in OUR WH!
Thanks for this. I was shocked when I heard Sissypants had died suddenly. I'm thinking maybe a huge dose of guilty conscience finally did him in? I kept thinking of how he'd worked with others (like McCain) in the past and contrasting that with what a dishonorable quisling he became right before our very eyes. He's the perfect example of a political sycophant. So utterly disgusting. Would that they all might succumb to a similarly quick end.
I've heard that the morticians preparing Graham's body for burial have hit a roadblock: so far they have been unable to pry Graham's lips off of Cheeto Mussolini's fat orange ass.
All one has to do is look at Graham's Congressional voting record. It becomes very clear that he hated the American people and would do anything and everything he could to harm the common American but help out his billionaire owners. If there is a HELL, he has earned and deserves it. This will be his and McConnell's legacies. History books will be written even after TRump burns and bans the ones that we have now.
Lindsay Graham was an ass-kissing, self-absorbed POS. His dramatic flip-flop on Trump was disgraceful and a poster for the spineless GOP Senators who could have prevented this dumpster fire by voting to impeach him. We had a chance to avoid this mess, yet Lindsay and his now-disabled pal McConnell didn’t want to do the right thing. Sickening.
The time to impeach him would have been when Mike Pence was VP. At least he had a little bit of sanity. The thought of JD Vance taking over the presidency if trump is successfully impeached is beyond scary.
As much as I despised "Sweet Lindsey O'Caroline" I won't be saving pee and making travel plans for the pouring of it on his grave. THAT I am reserving for Mitch McConnell who sadly, despite that pretty little plump-faced, rosy-cheeked picture of him sitting up in bed with his equally despicable wife smiling beside him, is as brain dead as a brick. Oh that he weren't just BRAIN dead.🙏
Of course, Dump wanted a war, anything to take people's mind off the Epstein Files, and his continued fleecing of Americans to the tune of over 2 billion dollars.
PS Lindsey helped convince Trump to attack Iran. So next time you go to fill up your car, think of Lindsey.

thank you, sir.

Your description of Lindsay is right on - a true quisling.
Thank you for not white washing the story of the perfidy of LG. Nobody has time for that bs anymore today.

This is the age of Trump. ETTD.
What a brilliant, informative article! Thanks for letting us know about it.
I don't get it, either.
I'll think of him when I pick up my yard after the dog-walkers go by...

Factually. Iran would be tactically worse than Vietnam or Afghanistan. Strategically it would be s disaster.
Andy, you hit the nail in the coffin. Bye-bye Ms. Lindsey. No tears shed for you nor your cohort, Mitch. My wish for you is to not rest in peace.
The turtle is next.
Two peas in the same rotten pod!
Two turtles in the same shell..
no disrespect to actual turtles tho
Oh, no! Had plenty of them as pets. And they were conscious.😊
Sooner I hope

To paraphrase a probably apocryphal quote attributed to Bette Davis, "They say one should only speak good of the dead. He's dead. Good."

Outstanding comment -- Thank you.

Nah, I think they should all suffer since they've caused innocent citizens to suffer in so many ways.
I’m hoping for a domino effect. Trump, McConnell, Grassley — who’ll be next? With a potential line-up like that, no wonder the reaper is grim.
I've heard that the morticians preparing Graham's body for burial have hit a roadblock: so far they have been unable to pry Graham's lips off of Cheeto Mussolini's fat orange ass.
Laughing out loud 🤣

I wonder what circle of Hell that Dante would assign him to?
probably the 9th - Treachery
Counting quislings as they start to fall…don’t stop now

Take 'em down one at a time.

Yeah a picture from 2023. Look at that baseball player he's standing with, this did not happen today.
However, if Lindsey Graham were to now say that he had spoken with Mitch McConnell today I would believe him.
Good one!!! Me too!!!
McConnell is responsible for this now corrupt and morally-empty MAGA SCOTUS. He never played fair.
I’m with you, a picture and a written statement aren’t very convincing that he’s alive.
Dead flowers for both of their graves…🥀
Spot on, as usual. Thank you Andy!
God damn it. Why cant we just have a peaceful world. Bombs were dropped, lives were lost, ait looks to me like Trump just wanted a war ,
Of course, Dump wanted a war, anything to take people's mind off the Epstein Files, and his continued fleecing of Americans to the tune of over 2 billion dollars.
This.
... and to enrich Big Oil and his Russian master
Beautifully said Andy. It's been nauseating to hear all the sycophantic accolades being bandied about. Good grief!
Yeow! Truth much?
TBR is the Home of Truth, after all.
And we are grateful. We need honesty now more than ever.
Verily
Well said. Well said. TY.
