Scheduling TBR sounds too much like a job. You’re not working for “The Man.” The surprise of what appears on your feed is part of your appeal. Aside from some legitimate tweaks folks have suggested, please obey your creativity and don’t alter your current shtick.

I liked it much better when it came in emails instead of a podcast .

Noted! But there are many people who like the interviews with people like Jane Goodall and Rob Reich. So it’s a tricky balance. Maybe fewer podcasts?

I wonder if a transcript option exists for those of us who will always be readers first? (and if there is one already, do let me know!)

Andy Borowitz's avatar

There is already that option. Find the word TRANSCRIPT under the video and click on it.

I said Sundays, but your podcasts do have value. The Reads are more flexible than the podcasts which take some time and quiet.

I'll make it through a podcast and interview once in a while, but I too much prefer emails, words on my screen. From a reader of a certain age as you might surmise.

Reading. Better for the brain. And most podcasts are way too long...too much yakking. Give me the facts.

I do like the podcasts, but I don't always view when I receive them. I think the length is just about right, because I don't want to miss anything :)

As a 70-year-old without ADHD, I always vote for reading. First, because I *can.* (Apparently tens of millions are functional illiterates and cannot.) Second, because I can do it at my leisure, not someone else’s. Third, because a podcast feels like a private conversation I cannot participate in. (Who wants that?)

I love your excellent takes on the unfortunate state of our country and its fractured parts. Hopefully the new year will have fewer fractures and more healing. The lack of healthcare coverage for people previously on the ACA just highlights the incompatibility of healthcare with for profit businesses. The Repugnants have never had a plan and never will because they have what they want and that is to have regular people on their knees.
