“Under this plan, the American people will receive full access to the doctors, hospitals, and medications they deserve,” House Speaker Mike Johnson declared.
Scheduling TBR sounds too much like a job. You’re not working for “The Man.” The surprise of what appears on your feed is part of your appeal. Aside from some legitimate tweaks folks have suggested, please obey your creativity and don’t alter your current shtick.
I'll make it through a podcast and interview once in a while, but I too much prefer emails, words on my screen. From a reader of a certain age as you might surmise.
As a 70 year old with ADHD, I cannot sit still long enough for a pod cast...but I can read (and reread) the transcript. Please keep the transcripts! Thank you.
As a 70-year-old without ADHD, I always vote for reading. First, because I *can.* (Apparently tens of millions are functional illiterates and cannot.) Second, because I can do it at my leisure, not someone else’s. Third, because a podcast feels like a private conversation I cannot participate in. (Who wants that?)
Your take on the current horror show is one of the few things I can read/watch without screaming and hiding under the bed.... While I can't drink coffee, the boost I get from TBR can really get me going! Thanks for your contribution to global sanity!
Honestly as many times as you want to do it a week, it’s up to you. I like all aspects of TBR and while I like reading it first thing, I find that I’m usually running late as a result!
I love your excellent takes on the unfortunate state of our country and its fractured parts. Hopefully the new year will have fewer fractures and more healing. The lack of healthcare coverage for people previously on the ACA just highlights the incompatibility of healthcare with for profit businesses. The Repugnants have never had a plan and never will because they have what they want and that is to have regular people on their knees.
Being slightly deaf, I prefer to read.I usually skip all podcasts. Love to find TBR in my inbox. It’s the first thing I read in the morning with my cup of coffee. Keep up the good work!!
It was challenging to narrow down which aspect of TBR I like the best. I seemed to have voted with the herd but I like all of it. Thanks for making my day with such frequency.
However the poll results skew, please just keep doing what you’re been doing!
Andy, listen to Susan M Waldau. I agree with her a million percent!
Yes, what Susan and Irna said!

What he said.
Yes. This.
I liked it much better when it came in emails instead of a podcast .
Noted! But there are many people who like the interviews with people like Jane Goodall and Rob Reich. So it’s a tricky balance. Maybe fewer podcasts?
Is it too much to ask you to keep juggling everything? You’re doing a fantastic job so far ! 😉
❣️ indeed. Andy is a force for good❣️
I agree, continue with what you’re doing. Make adjustments to make things work for you.
I really liked the podcasts that you did with Jane Goodall and Robert Reich
More of those
I wonder if a transcript option exists for those of us who will always be readers first? (and if there is one already, do let me know!)
There is already that option. Find the word TRANSCRIPT under the video and click on it.
amazing! Thanks - perhaps that solves for many of us.
I miss Jane Goodall. Such a force for good❣️ A beacon of hope and light.
Love the interviews!
I said Sundays, but your podcasts do have value. The Reads are more flexible than the podcasts which take some time and quiet.
Fewer surveys, lol! Keep on doing it your way, man, it’s all good!!
Now that I am retired I really don't have a lot of time to watch the podcasts even though they are grand

I agree, Mr. John. Being of a certain age myself.
I enjoyed reading, podcasts not so much. Another reader of a certain age
Wow! I am not the reader I used to be. I like podcasts because I can put them on while I'm doing dishes (etc.). (BTW, I do love your humor!)
Reading. Better for the brain. And most podcasts are way too long...too much yakking. Give me the facts.
I do like the podcasts, but I don't always view when I receive them. I think the length is just about right, because I don't want to miss anything :)
Or in my case I can’t hear it well enough and lip reading is really iffy, so I don’t care for them. Plus the fact that I really enjoy reading!
There is a transcript for every episode—click TRANSCRIPT under the video.
me too
yes emails only for me
Ruth: you may find (as I have) that they suit you better when you switch off the video and just listen to the audio.
And I would prefer to receive it in Canada.
<snort laugh>
“…Canadians, who called on Prime Minister Mark Carney to build a wall.” Paid for by Jeff Bezos.
Ha! Yes, Erik!
Just keep us laughing, Mr. Borowitz.
You are single-handedly salvaging our sanity in these really, really dark times.
Amen!
You are right on poiny

This is one of my survival lines, my way to smile when it's so bleak out there. Thank you!

But aren't you smiling as you're late? 😉
Thanks, Andy, your great humor lights up the Substack community!🌞
Why couldn’t I have two favorites? 😉I really enjoy TBR Sunday read !
Will Mexico be able to cover the Canada wall too?

Ooh, that means more knee replacements- Big Med will be pleased😡

Sometimes it's dangerous to read with a cup of coffee - i.e., coffee snort laughs 😉
Requesting more pictures of your puppies!
Cookie and Mousse are the best! And I'm a cat lady :-S
Andy, I read or listen to everything you put out, but your interviews are amazing!
