I wonder if he's making friends and influencing people in prison.

There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge'. -- Isaac Asimov, January 21, 1980.

That thread of ignorance has wound its way to our white house- the already failing/flailing potus trump’s hired dummies say the ignorant things spinning in his empty skull, and then we’re expected to believe the utter pablum they all spew. His party knows it’s all nonsense, but they’re riding this joke for every dollar they can squeeze out of it while our country & constitution careen over the cliff.

We know this, the whole world knows this - it’s laughable only because every day is another absolutely ridiculous day of unbelievable bullshite. Soon, a lot of Americans will be crying as our safety nets disintegrate; but not to worry, Moscow Mitch says we will get over it.
